Greetings from Georgia. Spending a few days with my dad before heading to Sebring for the 12 hour classic. I have a lot of memories from Sebring. Most people dont like the racetrack or the surrounding community of Sebring and Lake Placid. For me, Sebring is somewhat special in part because it was the first professional sports car race that I attended, a few years before my career in racing started. I was a junior in high school in Miami, and a few us drove up to Sebring, and pitched a tent in the paddock/infield. We must have driven up Friday after school. I dont remember a whole lot about the trip, other than some incredibly dense fog on the drive home in the wee hours of Sunday morning. Anyway, there is a certain beauty to central Florida that I have always appreciated a lot of it centered around big oak trees with Spanish moss draped over the branches. Anyway, i am looking forward to this weekend, I will try and send some updates during the weekend.
