As of late, most of my time has been spent working with a contract client on the 2024 Ford Mustang (S650) GT3 race car for IMSA and WEC competition. As a group we are building the car from the BIW as delivered directly from Ford, building the welded chassis (roll cage etc,) and assembling the complete race car(s).  I am not at liberty to disclose too many details, but I am tasked with machine shop and fabrication shop management, and also I look after the CAD for fixtures and some parts that may need to be modified and/or produced in-house.

As far as LEE Race Technology goes, in the next few months I will be building a stock of mandrel bends which will be available for purchase through the website.  I plan on selling both aluminum (6061) and stainless steel (304) mandrel bends.  These are from a US-based mandrel bender who uses materials sourced in the USA, so I feel good about that. In addition to the mandrel bends, we will sell other related products for tubing fabrication such as v-band clamps and the like. Of course, we will also be offering a variety of tube fabrication services as well. (headers, water pipes, charge tubes etc.) I have some bends in stock and will be adding them to the website in the coming days and weeks, so check back often to see what is available.  I will make announcements as things are added through the Instagram page, (@leeracetech). Also, I have added some Paypal options to the website, these include Paypal Pay and Venmo.  Paypal Pay allows you to divide up the purchase in several payments.  Hopefully, that will make it easier to purchase AN wrenches and the other items we will be offering soon.
