Greetings everyone. It has been a while since I last posted a blog entry. My apologies for not finishing my Sebring story from 2018. I will endeavor to do that in the near future.
Much has happened in the last few years and I will try and bring you up to date on all the news and information in the next few posts.
As of this writing, I am in Daytona Beach Florida, preparing for the Rolex 24 which is the first, longest, and most prestigious race on the IMSA sports car schedule.
Along with my own design work (LRT-1), FAST-AN® Tools, and other “in-house” design and manufacturing projects, I contract with Multimatic SVO to provide them with racing preparation services such as gearbox maintenance and rebuilding, general race mechanic work as well as race day pit lane duties. In this case, this weekend at Daytona (and for the remainder of the 2021 season), it is for the #55 Mazda Motorsports DPi (top prototype class)
In addition, for the last 5 years or so (since 2015) I have provided contract CAD and mechanical design services to Keystone Industries, a manufacturer of Hot Melt Systems and OEM quality replacement parts for other product lines of Hot Melt Equipment such as those systems manufactured by Nordson.
That's it for this update, I will try and do these brief updates on a more frequent basis. I know that was my goal when I started this blog, but you know how life gets in the way sometimes!
Be back soon
